Jesus Christ
Jesus is the senior pastor of our church. All that we do follows his leadership. We don't get to make any of this up. We get to gladly submit to the Scriptures and seek to pursue His definition of His Church. This is a very real and wonderful conviction: that Jesus is the legitimate, actual, functional, and good Shepherd of His Church.

Covenant Membership is a serious and weighty commitment within a Athen Church that is driven by a unified desire to submit ourselves to the authority of Scripture. When one becomes a covenant member of Athens Church they join a spiritual family that provides encouragement and support. They are called to a biblical degree of responsibility, service and sacrifice to their brothers and sisters.
